‘Harmonic Fusion’

Two rival conductors lead the marching ensemble back and forth between two contrasting styles.  Classical and Jazz.  The conductors initially like each other’s styles…  but ultimately battle back and forth to show the other whose musical “style” is better.  The show ends with a “Fusion” of the two styles with the two conductors agreeing on a “union”.

The show will be presented in 5 movements:

• Classical Intro – “Swan Lake”
• Jazz Intro – “Autumn Leaves”
• Ballad – “Waltz from Sleeping Beauty” & “My Funny Valentine”
• Battle– “Mars” and “In the Hall of the Mountain King”
• Union– “Canon in D”
