Congratulations on a great Veteran’s Day performance in Sun City. I have had so many compliments on how your performance added a level of class and sophistication. Also, congrats to Carter Calkins on making second chair at Region Orchestra and advancing to the Area auditions! Great job! Lastly, I would like to congratulate the Benold Middle School Jazz Band for being selected as the winner of the 2011 Texas Jazz Educators Association Jazz Grant.

At this past weeks booster meeting we formed two committees and are in need of people that wish to serve.
First is the Booster Club By-Law Review Committee. Jean Russell has agreed to head this up and we need another two or three people that would like to help with the review.
The End of Year Banqet committee is the second group that needs to be filled. We are in need of a chair and several people to work with the Seniors, Directors and Steering Committee to start the planning process. Saturday at Texas State was a great time and a great pregame performance! Thanks to the TX State band and staff for all of their hospitality. What a greaty way to end the season. Also, congrats to all of the winners from Friday night’s Masquerade Party.
