SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS!
- Eligibility goes into effect THIS Friday… be sure ALL 8 classes are above 70 by 3:45pm Friday Oct.15.
- Trying something new! Bring your large jug of ice water on the bus to the game on Friday! This will save us $$ and be good for the environment!
- PSAT is Wednesday 10/13 for many band students. Roll check at GHS at 7:45am on the bus.
- Wind Symphony Students! – Bring your Region Orchestra Audition Entry Fees on Tuesday, 10/12 and place in the lock box. Fee is $10.00 made out to GPAA BAND. We can take up to the following numbers of students:
1 Picc 4 Horn
4 Flute 3 Trumpet
3 Oboe 3 Tenor Trombone
4 Clarinet 1 Bass Trombone
2 Bassoon 1 Tuba
5 Percussion
If more than the above listed number of students place money in the box, we will audition for the number of students to be registered. More info to come if this occurs…

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!
MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY:
**1st/ 5th period: Make sure you arrive to school dressed in marching clothes – bring a change of school clothes in a duffel as well as clothes for marching after school. We will be learning dots during the school day – you will be given time at the end of class to change.
**4th/8th period: You will dress out into your marching clothes at GHS before class begins on the marching field approximately 2:45pm. You will stay in the marching clothes for the duration of the afternoon.

Hey Band, you are going to have an AMAZING experience to remember this week! Homecoming week is certainly like no other. Be ready for an exciting ride with much going on. Rest when you can and plan ahead for your classes, as we have a full plate this week!
Special Announcements for Homecoming:
- For Friday night’s homecoming game, we will be handling attendance the same as any other game or performance.
- All band and colorguard students are to suit-out with the band, eat with the band, sit with the band and perform with the band from 4:30pm until dismissal back at GHS around approximately 11:15pm.
- We do not allow mums or garters to be worn on band uniforms or colorguard uniforms. The students can wear them all day long until 3:45pm at school.
