- Band Booster meeting tonight. 7:00pm – RH1 – Band Booster Agenda 11-08-10
- During Classtime: Band Rehearsals on concert music
- After school – BAND OLYMPICS! 4:30pm to 5:45pm – SAN GABRIEL PARK – where we had the summer band picnic – open to any and all current band and colorguard students. This is preliminary competition… student vs. student. Tuesday is the finals competition… student vs. band staff. This event is optional and transportation is not provided. All interested students need to make their own arrangements to get to the park.

- No after school rehearsal today. Enjoy some much deserved time off!
- 8:00AM Leadership Meeting in RH2 – Please bring your leadership notebook with you to wrap up our season and think of ideas for next year
- During Class: watch DVD and then band hall clean-up day. This includes locker clean-out day and front ensemble (pit) disassemble day.
- No Band booster meeting tonight… instead we will meet on Monday 11/8.
- 5:30pm to 7:00pm- GISD STADIUM – THE First Annual GHS Band Flag Football Game
- Any band student is welcome to play. Everyone that signs up will get playing time. All band students are welcome to attend and just hang out in the stands and cheer us on! Those that intend to play, please sign up on the white board outside band hall one. All players will need to bring both a black Tshirt and a white Tshirt in case we need to even teams out at the event. Mr. Schayot is all-time QB. We will also need some halftime entertainment. Get together your mini-bands and let’s have some fun! Please keep your performances to less than 2 minutes (about the length of a stand tune).

Special Announcements!
- It’s Senior Night this Friday night during Halftime at the GHS Varsity Game! Parents of Seniors will be announced with their child at field level during Halftime. Senior parents, be on the lookout for an email from Mr. Schayot with more details.
- Tuesday night is the GHS Talent Show! We will be ending rehearsal early in order for students to attend the 7:00pm show.
- Because Tuesday is shortened, we will extend Thursday night by 30 minutes, as Area Contest is TBA this coming Saturday. Thursday’s rehearsal will end at 7:30pm.

- 2. Rehearse “Think” for Georgette tune this week
- 3. TIME OFF during band class. Relax, get out some homework and chill out the last half of band today. You deserve it!
