<li>** Ninth graders competing Friday evening will be bussed to GHS from the NGC in time for roll check in the GHS Band Hall.</li>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Saturday 12/5 &#8211; All Region</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li>The remaining instruments that did not audition Friday will compete Saturday&#8230;along with the students selected to move on in competition from Friday night.</li>
<li>* Parents may drive their student to the audition, or the student may ride the bus.</li>
<li>* Roll check on Saturday at GHS is at 1:00pm in RH1 for any students wishing to ride the bus to the Saturday auditions at Vista Ridge&#8230; the bus will be leaving soon after, so be prompt at 1:00pm for roll.</li>
<li>* Students NOT riding the bus need to be checked into their room at Vista Ridge HS no later than 2:00pm.  (signs are posted on-site where to go)</li>
<li>* Students participating in Saturday competition are exempt from the parade.</li>
<li>* Parents are encouraged to pick their student up from the Vista Ridge HS audition afterwards as the bus will not head back to GHS until approximately 7:00pm.</li>

<li>Percussion and Sousaphones meet at GHS at 10:30am to move equipment to square!</li>
<li>11:00am &#8211; Meet at southeast corner of parking lot at 10th &amp; Church</li>
<li>No cars/trucks are allowed inside the barricades this year.  We will need to park somewhere nearby 10th and Church and WALK our instruments into the parking lot where we warm up.  DO NOT MOVE BARRICADES!</li>
<li>ALL GHS BAND AND COLORGUARD STUDENTS ARE GRADED ON THIS PERFORMANCE.  BE ON TIME AND PREPARED WITH NECESSARY ITEMS LISTED BELOW NO LATER THAN 11:00AM !</li>
<li>Dress:  Band polo, jeans, tennis shoes and holiday-themed head-wear (santa hats, reindeer antlers, lit-up heads, etc).</li>
<li> Jackets are appropriate if weather is cold.</li>
<li>Bring:  Flip Folder, decorated instrument and festive head-wear</li>
<li>We will hand out your parade music on-site at 10th and Church.</li>

2. Individual Effort &#8211; each student is to turn in a piece of paper in class on Tuesday.  At the top, they write what they could have personally done better at Westlake Marching Festival.  At the bottom, they write what goals they are setting for themselves this week in order to perform at the highest level on Saturday at UIL.<br />
3.  Team Effort &#8211; 100% attendance at 100% of the rehearsals leading up to UIL.</p>
