• 8:00pm – Dismissal – Trumpets help Pit, Mellos help Guard this week!

• Woodwinds – Bring both your concert and marching instruments today
• 4:00pm – Begin dressing out for after-school rehearsal
• 4:15pm – Move out to practice lot for rehearsal
• 4:30pm – Rehearsal
• 7:00pm – Dismissal

• No marching practice after school today

Friday, September 3, 2010 – HOME GAME V. Temple

  • Triangle T (wear it to school)
  • Black Marching Socks
  • Black Marching Shoes
  • Blue Band Shorts
  • Show Shirt
  • Water Jug for Friday rehearsal
  • Clothes for Gattiland
  • Pillow, sleeping bag for Gattiland
  • $25.00 for Gattiland

• ALL ARRIVE AT GHS AT 7:45am to prepare for the pep rally!  We will warm-up in RH1 at 7:50am and then move to the gym at 8:00am.   Battery parade through hallway at 8:05am.

• ALL WEAR BLACK TRIANGLE T.

• PEP RALLY TODAY!!!  We will bus the 9th graders back to the NGC for your 1st class of the day.

• Friday Schedule
• 4:30pm-  Rehearsal on band practice field in TRIANGLE T SHIRT, Blue Shorts, Black Socks and Black Marching Shoes
• 5:15pm – Run through
• 5:20pm-  Finish rehearsal.
• 5:25pm – Change into Show Shirt
• 5:30pm-  Dinner in commons.
• 6:00pm – Clear Commons
• 6:05pm-  Put on uniform – woodwinds in RH1, brass in Yellow, guard in RH2, perc in perc rm.
• 6:15pm – Section Time – check flip folders, lyres, white gloves, white gauntlets, silver baldrics
• 6:20pm- form parade lines outside RH1– brass line / woodwind line (same as outside Alamodome) – Order:  DMS, Drumline, winds (in two long parallel files), guard.
• 6:30pm- PARADE!  – drumline continue playing cadence while brass and woodwinds load stands.
• 6:45pm – load stands – (woodwinds up right side / brass up left side – load simultaneously)
• 6:50pm – winds warm-up in stands
• 7:05pm – Water Break – No playing until our school song is announced.
• 7:17pm-  visitor school song
• 7:19pm-  home school song
• 7:21pm-  metal shop
• 7:23pm – fight song for team entrance
• 7:28pm-  National Anthem by choir
• 7:30pm-  kickoff
• 8:40pm – halftime
• 10:15pm – dismissal to band hall to hang uniforms IN UNIFORM ROOM!
• 10:45pm – change into your clothes for Gattiland!
• 11:00pm – meeting in RH1 for all Gattiland students
• 11:15pm – load bus for Gattiland once you have paid your $25.00 (exact change necessary).  11:45pm to 7am

Gattiland Lock-in – Round Rock – this is optional, but encouraged… lots of fun!

• We will bus the students to GattiLand.
• Parent pick-up will be at Gattiland Round Rock at 7:00am sharp – students will not be allowed to drive themselves home.  PLEASE be on time to pick up your child as the volunteer chaperones have been up all night!
• Cost is $25.00 a student.
• Current band and colorguard students only.  No friends or alumni.
