- Seniors fill out senior info sheet today during classes
- No after school rehearsal. Time off.
Tuesday, October 27, 2009
- Classtime: ALL bring concert horns AND marching horns today.
- 9th graders also! work all-region music
- Woodwinds – individual practice time on concert instrument to prepare for Thursday’s class.
- Brass – work with teachers on All-Region etudes
- 4:00pm-6:15pm STADIUM rehearsal. Final DVD recording with Cloud9.
- 4:00pm – down time in band hall – (kids bring snacks to share?)
- 4:25pm – get into full uniform – head outside to practice field
- 4:45pm – stretches, roll, individual WW/Brass arc warm-ups on practice field.
- Pit warms up behind stadium in road.
- All podiums, walls etc move straight to stadium at 4:45pm so that loading crew has time to change into uniform.
- Battery and Winds need to run “Blazing Saddles” together.
- 5:20pm – band moves into stadium dressed in full uniform to set-up for the full run.
- 5:40pm – begin recording – one run and done.
- 6:00pm – release band for dismissal to band hall – hang uniforms and head home.
- 6:15pm – dismissal

- NINTH GRADERS… We are ending the day AT THE NGC! Bring your concert horns to school today to the NGC and you will have band class today in the NGC BAND HALL.
Thursday, October 29, 2009
- Classtime: ALL bring concert horns AND marching horns today. 9th graders also! work all-region music
- Brass – individual practice time on concert instrument to prepare for Thursday’s class.
- Woodwinds – work with teachers on All-Region etudes
- 3:45pm – Pit rolls outside to prepare for final musical run-through of the show.
- 4:00pm – stretches, roll, indiv WW/Brass arc warm-ups on practice field
- 4:15pm – Georgette run-through “Blazing Saddles”
- 4:30pm – Form concert arcs behind pit.
- 4:35pm – Record marching show for Audio CD (mic will be in the tower)
- 4:59pm – Dismiss pit to roll back to band hall and DISASSEMBLE ALL MARCHING EQUIP.
- 5:00pm – Winds and Battery record stand tunes and Gette tunes
- 6:15pm – All dismissed from band hall to go home (EXCEPT SENIORS!)
- 6:20pm – Seniors practice halftime “G” with Mr. Schayot (senior Gettes will arrive at 5:30pm in case we finish recording early)
Friday, October 30, 2009 – HOME GAME V. Round Rock – SENIOR NIGHT & HALLOWEEN PARTY!!

- Water Jug for Friday rehearsal
- ALL ARRIVE AT GHS AT 7:45am to prepare for the pep rally! We will warm-up in RH1 at 7:50am and then move to the gym at 8:00am. Battery parade through hallway at 8:05am.
- ALL WEAR BLACK TRIANGLE T.
- PEP RALLY TODAY!!! We will bus the 9th graders back to the NGC for your 1st class of the day.

- 4:55pm – Driver move cars.
- 5:00pm – Finish rehearsal.
- 5:05pm – Change into Show Shirt
- 5:10pm – Dinner in commons.
- 5:35pm – Clear Commons
- 5:40pm – Put on uniform.
- 6:00pm – form parade block
- 6:10pm – PARADE!
- 6:20pm – load stands
- 6:35pm – winds warm-up in stands
- 6:55pm – water break
- 7:00pm – No playing until our school song is announced.
- 7:17pm – visitor school song
- 7:19pm – home school song
- 7:21pm – metal shop
- 7:23pm – fight song for team entrance
- 7:28pm – National Anthem by choir
- 7:30pm – kickoff
- 8:40pm – halftime
- 10:15pm – dismissal to band hall to hang uniforms IN UNIFORM ROOM!
- 10:45pm – change into your Halloween costume – line up in hallway next to yellow.
- approximately 11:00pm – commons will be opened for the party.
