Monday, October 5
- All Band Students will be marching during classtime today… wear your marching clothes and bring a change of school clothes.
- Wind Symphony, arrive at school dressed to march. We will give you time to change at the end of classtime into school clothes.
- 4:00pm-6:15pm – Full Band Rehearsal

Tuesday, October 6
- We find out eligibility today. Please let us know before today if you know you are below 70 in one of your classes.
- You will be marching during classtime today… wear your marching clothes and bring a change of school clothes.
- Wind Symphony, arrive at school dressed to march. We will give you time to change at the end of classtime into school clothes.
- 4:00pm to 6:45pm STADIUM rehearsal. Tuesday parent pickup is 7:00pm.
Wednesday, October 7 – No afterschool rehearsal.
- All bring concert horn.
- NINTH GRADERS… We are ending the day AT THE NGC! Bring your concert horns to school today to the NGC and you will have band class today in the NGC BAND HALL.
Thursday, October 8
- ALL ARRIVE AT GHS AT 7:45am to prepare for the pep rally! We will warm-up in RH1 at 7:50am and then move to the gym at 8:00am. Battery parade through hallway at 8:05am.
- ALL WEAR BLACK TRIANGLE T.
- PEP RALLY TODAY!!! We will bus the 9th graders back to the NGC for your 1st class of the day.

Friday, October 9 – Home Game v. Stony Point – Middle School Band Night
- No school today, but we do perform at the game!
- Schedule
- 3:15pm – Arrive in TRIANGLE T SHIRT, Blue Shorts, Black Socks and Black Marching Shoes
- 3:30pm – Rehearsal on band practice field
- 4:55pm – Drivers please go move cars.
- 5:00pm – Finish rehearsal.
- 5:05pm – Dinner in commons.
- 5:35pm – Clear Commons (trumpets clear)
- 5:35pm – All MS bands are meeting in GHS RH1 to organize (we will have the HS students in RH2 and Yellow)
- 5:40pm – Put on uniform.
- 6:00pm – form parade block in west student lot WITH MS BANDS!
- 6:10pm – PARADE! (leave practice field gate unlocked once we pass through – used as parking for game) -Route is counter-clockwise around PAC, right at tennis courts, across practice field, down asphalt pathway, left in front of stadium, right at the home side parking lot, into stadium at large double gate on home entrance, down the decline into the north endzone,counterclockwise down the sideline, up into the stands on the scoreboard side.)
- 6:20pm – load stands
- 6:35pm – winds warm-up in stands
- 6:55pm – water break – (we need to provide 200+ waters more than usual)
- 7:00pm – No playing until our school song is announced.
- 7:17pm – visitor school song

- 7:28pm – National Anthem by choir
- 7:30pm – kickoff

- 10:15pm – dismissal to band hall to hang uniforms IN GARMENT BAGS on the rack
- 10:45pm – Approximate dismissal from band hall
Saturday, 10/10 – Westlake Marching Festival
- Westlake HS – Austin, TX
- WEAR:
- SHOW SHIRT
- Blue band shorts
- Black socks
- Black marching shoes
- SUNSCREEN- you will be outside in full sun all day!
- Bring: $$ for concessions / patches (optional)
- Schedule
- 10:00am – rehearsal begins (eat a good breakfast before you arrive) (arrive already dressed in show shirt & blue shorts etc)
- 11:00am – end rehearsal
- 11:05am – winds put instruments on trailer
- 11:10am – percussion load trailer
- 11:40pm – load buses
- 12:00pm – depart — eat your sack lunch on the way!
- 1:00pm – arrive and unload — winds dress into uniform first then unload. Percussion unload and then get dressed. (ALL grab a water bottle at the trailer)
- 2:20pm – warm-up- (winds get water at warm-up) (chaperones need trash bags for bottles)
- 3:00pm – PERFORM
- 3:15pm – head back to buses for Gatorade. Load instruments on trailer and move pit equip against trailer. Fold uniform neatly over your seat in bus.
- 3:45pm – Head as a group to visitor stands to sit in a block to watch bands and receive results on finals.
- 6:00pm – dinner
- *Finals run from 7:00pm – 10:00pm
- 10:20pm – finals awards ceremony
- 10:50pm – load buses
- 11:00pm – depart
- 12:15am - approximate dismissal from band hall
