Band Garage Sale

• 7am-2pm
• Georgetown High School Music Building
• ** bring your donations (large or small, old or new, junky or really junky) to the band hall on Friday, 9/18.
• LARGE donations like washers, dryers, refrigerators etc can be picked up from your home! More info at Tuesday’s booster meeting!**

• This is an ALL GISD BANDS fundraiser and we need LOTS of volunteers! HS students and parents alike are encouraged to log on to VolunteerSpot. We have many shifts available… this is going to be a HUGE fundraiser for our band program. Please do consider logging on and seeing if you can take a 3 hour shift!

Halftime Showcase

• GISD Athletic Complex Stadium
• At the conclusion of this year’s showcase, we have a VERY special performance by the Texas Tech Goin’ Band from Raiderland!
• * invite everyone you know, this will be a great opportunity to hear this exciting band! *
• ** this coordinates well with the preparation for the garage sale the next day. Come early to the Halftime Showcase to drop off your wonderful donations to the GHS Band Hall before heading over to the stadium on Friday early evening! **

GattiLand Lock-in

• Friday, September 11, 2009
• Round Rock – this is optional, but encouraged… lots of fun!
• We will bus the students to GattiLand. Parent pick-up will be at Gattiland Round Rock at 7:00am sharp – students will not be allowed to drive themselves home.
• PLEASE be on time to pick up your child as the volunteer chaperones have been up all night!
• Cost is $25.00 a student.
• Current band and colorguard students only. No friends or alumni.
