Huge Week for the GHS Eagle Band

Highlights

  • Thursday – Football Game in Leander
  • Friday – Parent Preview Night
    • Families and friends come see a full performance of the competition show – Arrive around 6:00 for the 6:30 show
    • Learn the “Applause Moments” so you can help the band have the biggest impact at competitions
    • All that and burgers too at 7:00
  • Saturday – BOA Houston Marching Competition

Bands of America Regional Championships, presented by Yamaha, are the premier marching band events in the nation. Join us for some of the finest high school marching bands in America, and be part of an exciting event that provides a positive, enthusiastic environment for all the participating bands.
Saturday Morning Prelims: 30 bands
Saturday Evening Finals: top 10 bands

GENERAL ADMISSION: All seats are General Admission (GA). Children 8 years old and younger are admitted free for General Admission Seating at all events. There is no Upper Deck seating for this event. Discounted GA tickets are available for Senior Citizens (65+) on the day of the event only.

The Georgetown Band will be staying for finals whether we make it into the top 10 bands or not.

Prelims Only Ticket:  $17.00 each

Finals Only Ticket:  $17.00 each

Day Pass (both prelims and finals):  $24.00 BEST VALUE!

Hey Band, you are going to have an AMAZING experience to remember this week! Homecoming week is certainly like no other. Be ready for an exciting ride with much going on. Rest when you can and plan ahead for your classes, as we have a full plate this week! Take care of yourselves and take care of your grades. Students, be sure to go into tutorials with your teachers in the mornings from 8:00am to 8:35am, they are there to help you! Friends, be supportive of each other this week as we work together to strive for excellence in our grades and conclusion to our show!
